Optek Releases Unity MAX Blocker
PINELLAS PARK, Florida, Jun. 26, 2007 — Today, Optek announced
the release of its new Unity MAX layout blocker. Unity MAX is significantly
smaller that its predecessor, the highly successful Unity blocker. Its
minimal footprint and attractive pricing make the Unity MAX well suited
for both wholesale and retail environments.
Through advanced mechanical and software technology, Unity MAX provides
exceptional levels of accuracy, speed, dependability, and operational
simplicity. Key features include: support for a wide range of industry-standard
block types, the option of dispensing traditional alloy or environmentally
friendly wax blocking material, an integrated touch screen control system,
software-based lens alignment, automatic lens hold down during cooling,
and quick-interchange blocking molds for optimal lens support.
Optek is currently accepting orders for Unity MAX and expects to
begin shipping units in mid July.
